We are all different

In the last section, you learned about the negative thought “magnifying the negative”, where one’s mind exaggerates negative events while minimising positive events. I will describe more negative thoughts throughout this website. This will help you recognise such thoughts if they occur to you.

However, not all the content on this website will be relavant you. For example, maybe you found that the negative thought that you read about in the previous section has little to do with how you think in your day-to-day life. This is entirely expected as we are all different individuals. What is relevant to one person may not be relevant to someone else. The way our minds work and the circumstances we live in differ. Therefore, regarding the information on this website, please take what you think is relevant to you, and ignore what is not.

Perhaps this is similar to how one chooses food at an all-you-can-eat buffet. There is a lot of food at a buffet, some of which one will find attractive and others that will not be appealing. To enjoy one’s meal, one will only serve oneself the food one likes. Similarly, feel free to take what you like on this website and leave behind what you think will not be helpful.

If you decide to put aside some sections on this website, you can always return to them later. This website will always be there to welcome you when you return!
